Sophia’s is the BEST place for tailoring and alterations in the area. I’ve taken many clothing items here for years and they are always worked on with skill, care, and consideration of both classic fit and personal preference. Some of the techniques and approaches here go beyond other commercial alteration places as far as skill and knowledge of garment alteration. I took an expensive Italian wool Canali jacket here to have a hole repaired and they made it disappear. Looks brand new! All of my jeans and pants fit me exactly how I’d like, because of the simple choice I made to have them altered here. Between Sophia’s Tailoring and The Clothesline Dry Cleaners near Maple and Miller Ave, all of my clothing care needs are met with excellent skill and quality care. And they are 5 minutes away from each other.
